What is Regenerative Medicine?

Regenerative Medicine is based on the use of our own biological components to heal injuries or to delay and/or reverse the aging process. The main causes of tissue deterioration include sun damage, volume loss (both due to skin thinning and loss of volume in fatty compartments and bones), and increased laxity (with a progressive decrease in collagen and elastin). All of this is related to a slowdown in cell function, influenced by environmental factors, but also with a genetic basis.

With regenerative medicine, we aim to:

  • Use natural and own tissues (such as fat and its stem cells) to replenish volumes.

  • Employ a variety of regenerative treatments to reverse sun damage and cellular aging.

  • Maintain and restore a youthful and healthy appearance by repositioning tissues and stimulating the synthesis of collagen and elastin to address laxity.

These treatments can be performed individually or combined with others (with or without surgery). They focus on improving at a cellular level, so while their effects may take slightly longer to manifest than other approaches, we achieve completely natural and long-term results, respecting the anatomy and nature of each patient to the fullest extent.

It involves injecting the patient's own fat into different facial regions. The fat is obtained from areas of the body with excess (such as the abdomen or hips), with the goal of providing volume, projection, and enhancing facial harmony. It can be performed independently or in conjunction with other procedures such as blepharoplasty, rhinoplasty, or facelift.
